Partnership project with Nottingham Castle and Museums, New Art Exchange, Nottingham Contemporary.
Role includes
Providing a written brief for artists, appointing artists and professionals and ensuring work meets with the criteria and aims of the project.
Managing relevant part of the budget for artists, materials and volunteer expenses.
Liaising with Partners.
Keeping records for monitoring and funding purposes.
Collecting feedback and contributing to the written evaluation of project.
Leading weekly sessions with the BASIC steering group made up of 16-24 year olds.
Supporting the group to communicate their ideas and plan an exhibition of artwork to run alongside the British Art show.
Jan 10- April 11 Lead Artist
Enquire funded project with Nottingham Castle and Museums.
Role included
Liaising with staff, curators and artists.
Devising creative sessions which developed young people's understanding of contemporary art.
Producing resources with young people to be used to help others understand contemporary art.
Liaising with graphic designers about resources.
Leading weekly sessions with two groups of 12-15 year olds.

Artist led project "landliesfallow', phase one funded by The Arts Council.

Working with local organisations to develop projects that utilise disused green spaces.
Writing funding bids to develop the oral history side of the project.

Working alongside teachers and pupils to devise and lead creative sessions which enhance the curriculum and objectives of the school.

Story telling and textiles project to create panels for a Joseph's technicoloured dream coat.
Exploring Drawing and looking skills with portraits and landscape work.
Learning about and creating cast fossils.
Developing painting and designing skills through painting a multicultural mural from pupil ideas and designs.
